1. The commencement of your stay at Akacja Medical Resort (hereinafter referred to as the AKACJA) is equal to acceptance of the content of these regulations by the person renting the room, hereinafter referred to as the Guest.

  2. In order to register for a stay at the AKACJA – the Guest is obliged to present to the reception staff a document with a photo confirming his or her identity.The receptionist is obliged to refuse to hand over a room access card in the situation of:

    1. a) the Guest refusing to present the document in a way that allows registration for the stay,
    2. b) the Guest refusing to pay in advance for the services ordered.

     

  3. Rooms in the AKACJA are rented for hotel days.

     

  4. The hotel day lasts from 14.00 on the day of the rental until 12.00.

     

  5. If the Guest does not specify the length of stay while renting a room, it is assumed that the room has been rented for one day.

     

  6. The Guest should report the wish to extend stay in the AKACJA beyond the period indicated on the day of arrival at the reception desk no later than 22.00 on the day preceding the deadline of renting the room, which, however, does not bind the facility. The AKACJA will take into account the wish to extend your stay as far as unoccupied rooms are available. Staying in the room or leaving things outside of the check-out time is considered a prolongation of your stay.

     

  7. Staying in the room or leaving things outside of the check-out time is considered a prolongation of one’s stay.

     

  8. In case the Guest leaves the room after the check-out time – the reception computer program will charge the next day’s room rent according to full prices.

     

  9. In the event that an prolongation of the Guest’s stay in the room is not possible – the AKACJA staff will remove all the Guest’s belongings from the room and deposit them until picked up by him or her.

     

  10. The Guest who rents a room cannot transfer the room to other people, even if the day for which he or she paid the fee has not expired.

     

  11. Persons not registered to stay in the AKACJA may stay in the room from 8.00 to 22.00.

     

  12. Unregistered persons may stay in the AKACJA premises only after obtaining the approval of the hotel staff. The above does not apply to the cafe during its opening hours.

     

  13. The presence of unregistered people in a room after 22.00 is tantamount to the consent of the Guest renting a room to pay for these persons a fee for the room. Check-in for each person will take place according to the current extra bed price for an adult, from the price list available at the AKACJA reception desk.

     

  14. The children under the age of 13 must be under constant supervision and care of adults throughout the whole stay. The legal guardians of children are responsible for actions of children, including damage and / or injury.

     

  15. In the AKACJA, including: windows, rooms and bathrooms, and on balconies and terraces – in accordance with the Act of 8 April 2010 amending the Act on health protection against the consequences of tobacco and tobacco products use and the Act on the State Sanitary Inspection (Journal of Laws No. 81, item 529) – the use of cigarettes, tobacco products and e-cigarettes is completely forbidden.

     

  16. In the AKACJA and its area, quiet hours are maintained from 22.00 to 7.00 the next day. During the quiet hours the Guests and people using the AKACJA services are obliged to behave in such a way that it does not disturb the stay of other people in any way. The AKACJA has the right to refuse to continue providing services to a person who violates this principle.

     

  17. The Guest renting a room at the hotel is required to familiarize himself or herself with the room equipment and keep it intact. It is forbidden to take out furniture and equipment outside the room. The Guest bears full financial and legal responsibility for any damage or destruction to the equipment and devices of the AKACJA caused by the fault of his or her visitors.

     

  18. Due to fire safety it is forbidden to use the following at the Akacja rooms, terraces and in other interiors:

    1. a) heaters and other electrical devices that do not belong to these rooms. The above does not apply to chargers and RTV and computer power supplies,
    2. b) open fire in any form.

     

  19. In the event of a fire alarm and its consequences in the form of e.g. evacuation of the building – as a result of the Guest’s actions – the Guest covers the costs of the evacuation action, restoring the AKACJA building to the pre-evacuation condition, as well as the costs of claims of third parties, if these claims appear due to the fire alarm and its consequences.

     

  20. Each time when leaving the room, the Guest is obliged to close the doors and windows and make sure that they are closed so that access of third parties to the room is not possible.

     

  21. The AKACJA is not liable for any damage or loss of things due to leaving the window open or the door to the room not properly closed.

     

  22. The AKACJA liability for loss or damage to items brought by the Guest to the hotel is regulated by the provisions of the Articles 846-849 of the Civil Code. This liability is subject to limitation if these items are not deposited at the reception desk. The AKACJA has the right to refuse to store money, securities and valuable items, especially valuables and objects of scientific or artistic value, if they threaten security or are too valuable in relation to the size or  the AKACJA standard or take up too much space.

     

  23. Items of personal use left in the room by a leaving Guest will be sent back at his or her expense to the address indicated by the Guest. If we do not receive such an order, the AKACJA will store these items for 3 months and then give them for charitable or public purposes.

     

  24. In case of violation of the provisions of these Regulations, the AKACJA may refuse to continue providing services to the person who violates them.

     

  25. Such a person is obliged to immediately comply with the demands of the staff: to settle the amounts due for the existing services and to pay for destruction and damages that may have been caused, and leave the AKACJA and the area belonging to it.

     

  26. The AKACJA refuses to accept a Guest who during the previous stay violated the regulations, causing damage to the property of the AKACJA or Guests or personal injury to the Guests, the AKACJA employees or other people staying at the AKACJA, or otherwise disturbed the peace of the AKACJA premises.
